Absolutely in Love with Zettai Kareshi

I was hesitant at first. I’ve had my initial doubts. The plot did not have any appeal to me initially even though its summary clearly included “boyfriend” in it proving it to be a romantic manga. Even though I am a sucker for romance, having read boyfriend with the words “package” and “return within three days” did not make it sound appealing at all for me when it should have had aroused my interest. Okay, I admit it did a little but it was not enough for me to continue reading it plus the fact I had better things things I was paid to do. But boredom stroke after I’ve done what I needed paid to do and before these idle hands of mine do something utterly ridiculous, I decided to check up on the manga again and decide to read it. After all, if I didn’t find it interesting, I can just discontinue reading it. But alas! How wrong I was! I’m not easily addicted to things that have not caught my initial interest but when I do get addicted, I don’t stop till I’m satisfied (err scratch that again) or rather till I’m finished. And you could say by now Zettai Kareshi (aka Absolute Boyfriend) had my eyes stuck to the computer screen in the hope of finishing it fast. Hehe!
It was my big mistake that I did not take note of who it’s author is as if I’ve only known it first that it was one of Yuu Watase’s work then I wouldn’t have second thoughts on reading it from cover-to-cover. Forgive my negligence Yuu Watase! Hehe!
Anyway, *warning* I WANT AN ABSOLUTE BOYFRIEND TOOOO!!! I WANT! I WANT! I WANT! GIMME! *ROFCMEO* translation: rolling on the floor crying my eyes out. LOL!
But because it’s very absolute and highly ideal, such guy does not exist - as clearly pointed out by Zettai Kareshi which portrayed its Absolute Boyfriend as nothing more than a robot. *sniff* But I’d have to say Tenjou Night is one hell of a hot guy. Oh well, if you’re making an absolute boyfriend, then make it as such that it would answer all girls’ fantasies of how a guy should look like, right? LOL! Let me just say, I absolutely adore his handsome face and the way he is as a boyfriend. *sigh*

But all good things must come to an end and Tenjou Night left this world in a peaceful slumber (in other words, he got broken. *falls anime style* haha)
Though I’d have to admit I adore him more than Soushi, Ruuki’s friend since childhood, I hate it that he has to be left out (read: dumped). Of course, it was probably not easy to get dumped over a robot, right?
But it just goes to show that some girls when they fall in love, they absolutely have no care in the world even if it’s impossible for them to be together. And in this case, even if the guy is just a battery away from being inanimate.
If I were t put a different ending to this story, I’d forward the years and make Ruuki and Soushi end up together. After all, when reality bites, we girls still have to be together with someone who’s not perfect but would absolutely be by our side no matter what - someone who’s as real as he can gets. ![]()
Did I just get mushy? Hihi. ![]()
